To ensure they stay on top of their game, PizzaExpress has a jam-packed marketing calendar, giving their loyal customers reasons to return, and tempt new customers through their doors. That's where we come in. We worked closely with the team at PizzaExpress to help develop their fresh new brand identity through design development, creative for national & seasonal campaigns, and social.

Seasonal campaigns are a key opportunity for menu innovations and creative campaigns to drive sales & brand awareness. Through customer insight, creative strategy and beautiful design, I had the pleasure of delivering some wonderful campaigns from concept to full rollout in both print, digital and social campaigns.

Logo Design

Our Dough, Your go! Pizza-making kits.

With lockdown causing restaurant closures across the country, an opportunity presented it's self to bring the PizzaExpress experience direct to consumer. This is where 'Our Dough, Your Go' was created.
The creative resulted in a fun, expressive graphic which conveyed the joy of dough flipping and creating your own restaurant-style pizzas, just like a trained Pizzaiolo!

Reasons To Be Cheerful

"Reasons to be cheerful" set the foundation of a series of social campaigns for 2021. The purpose of the campaign was to generate brand awareness through tapping into consumer mindset as we emerged from the pandemic, celebrating the 'small wins' throughout that period.
The creative strategy was to design simple, typographic campaign to allow key messaging to land with maximum impact, driving traffic to delivery partners.

PizzaExpress constantly strive to innovate their menu through strategic customer insight and trends. Pizza Wraps saw their iconic recipes wrapped up to take away, tapping into the lunch time and take-away markets, launching exclusively with Deliveroo.
The branding for the campaign was inspired by expressive typography and simplicity, merging macro photography to highlight delicious fresh ingredients with bold, creative headlines for a clean, effective campaign identity.
